Week 8 All Atomic (7/23/2010 – 7/29/2010)In week 1 you got a preview of Atomic Learning and through out this journey you have viewed many of the tutorials offered through Atomic Learning. You have also explored many online tools. Now is the time to take the pretest. Normally you would have taken the pretest at the beginning of the process, however, it was important for you to experience many different online tools prior to the taking the test. This pretest will help you determine where you need to go next in your adventure in online learning. Once you have taken the pretest, you will be assigned tutorials that will help you increase your technology strengths. Do not worry about your score or where you fall. This is simply a tool for you to use to judge your technology skill levels.
Another great thing about Atomic Learning is that you can also use it to answer some of your tech questions. For example if you want to add a signature to your email, but can’t remember how to do it, Atomic Learning has a tutorial to show you how to do it.
After you have taken the pretest, browse the 21st Century Skills projects and tech integration projects that they have listed. These give you all the information you need to implement these lessons in your classroom. Choose one that you think you can be successful in integrating into your classroom for next year.
